Her Royal Majesty Queen Affipong IV (Mrs. Alberta Addo; née Quaye) is the Paramount Queen Mother of the Ngleshie Traditional Council, a distinguished custodian of tradition descended from a revered lineage of Ga leadership. She is the daughter of Nii Odame Kojo and Comfort Quaye, and granddaughter of Nii Ahuma Kojo II, Ngleshie Mantse, whose legacy anchors her lifelong devotion to service, dignity, and cultural renewal.
Born at Usher Clinic in Jamestown, she spent her early childhood in Teshie–Nungua before continuing her education at Lincoln International School and later at the Institute of Divine Education (Shalom Shalom) in Mamprobi. She attended Ghana National College in Cape Coast, followed by professional Computing studies that led to her early career at the Ministry of Finance, where she gained valuable public-sector experience.
After marrying Mr. Addo at St. George’s Anglican Church in 1998, she relocated to the United States, earning her nursing degree from Brooklyn College and serving in hospitals across Brooklyn and Manhattan. Alongside her nursing career, she and her husband built a flourishing entrepreneurial path, founding multiple small businesses and ultimately developing a successful real estate investment portfolio in Maryland. Her transition from first-time buyer to seasoned private equity real-estate investor reflects her remarkable discipline, vision, and business instinct.
Her entrepreneurial work extended into cross-border commerce, where she launched an online retail platform connecting Ghanaian and American markets, and further into Information Technology, where she studied Risk Management Framework to broaden her professional expertise. Driven by passion for business with her husband, they built their freight company with partnerships with Fortune 500 companies across the U.S in 2004
As part of her modern approach to development, Queen Affipong IV is also a founding partner of InvestAfrica54.RealEstate, a groundbreaking blockchain-driven platform that enables compliant, fractionalized ownership of African real estate. The platform democratizes access to property investment for both local communities and the diaspora, aligning with her belief in innovation-driven economic empowerment.
Today, as Paramount Queen Mother of Jamestown and Ngleshie, she stands as a symbol of heritage, progress, and unity. Her leadership is anchored in service to Jamestown, extended commitment to Ga Mashie and the GaDangme people, and a broader dedication to the advancement of humanity. Her work reflects a deep respect for tradition paired with a forward-looking vision for cultural, social, and economic transformation.
